how we're DOING it
I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some!
Paul said that in 1 Corinthians 9:22 and his mission was to a culture not so unlike our own. He concluded by saying, "I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it" (1 Corinthians 9:23). So, how did he DO it? He simply went wherever there were ears to listen and then he opened his mouth (Acts 17:17)! Just as Paul traveled to cities like Athens and Corinth to reach the world with the gospel, 4in6 is traveling across the digital horizon to reach over 1.5 billion Internet users world-wide. Did you know that Paul even quoted from a secular Greek poet (Acts 17:28) when he spoke to the Stoics and Epicureans at the Areopagus in Athens (Acts 17:16-34)? He wasn't merging the Greek pantheon with the gospel of Jesus Christ, he was appealing to reason by bringing to mind that which they already considered reasonable. This was a springboard to the gospel, which Paul delivered in his very next breath (Acts 17:29-31). When he was finished, some thought that he was a fool. Some wanted to hear more. And some believed. Likewise, we use the Internet like Paul used his opportunity at the Areopagus. We speak a language that the world understands for the sake of the gospel. We speak boldly and without compromise to all who have ears to hear so that we may by all means save some. Some will find this foolish. Some will want to hear more. And some will believe!
